CUET 2023 Exam: National Testing Agency has released the official notification for Common Universities Entrance Test CUET-UG previously known as CUCET-UG. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the online application process for Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET) dates for CUET 2022 Exam from 21st to 31st May 2023. CUET Exam is conducted for admission to Undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs at several centrally-funded universities. CUET 2023 Exam
National Testing Agency has changed the name of Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) to Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET). CUET 2023 will provide a single-window opportunity to students to seek admission in any of the Central Universities (CUs) across the country Central Universities Entrance Test will be conducted in 13 languages at around 154 exam centres around the country. This year, Delhi University (DU) has also made the CUET mandatory for the academic session 2023-24.

CUET 2023- Important Dates
The official CUET 2022 notification for Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET) has been released on 1st week of April 2023. Tentatively, NTA will conduct the online registration process for the CUET entrance exam 2023 in April 2023.

CUET Exam Date 2023
NNTA CUET 2023 online examination is expected to be conducted by the 21st to 31st May 2023. The detailed exam schedule for CU-CET 2023 exam will be released along with the official notification of the CUET 2023 exam which is expected to be released this month. CUET Application Form 2023
The CUET 2023 application process would comprise steps including registration, application, image upload and payment. The candidates looking forward to admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at several centrally-funded universities must have to submit online applications at the official website https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/. As per the latest notice of UGC, the CUET 2023 Application Form will be available from the 21st to 31st May 2023.

 
CUET 2023 Application Fee
CUET 2023 Application Fee can be paid by debit/credit card/net banking or Challan of SBI bank any branch. Candidates have to pay the application fee either online or offline mode. GST and other taxes will be applicable as by Govt. of India/ Bank. Check category-wise CUET 2023 Application Fee from the below table.

How to fill CUET Application Form 2023?
The candidates have to fill out CUET Application Form 2023 to get registered for the Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET). Follow the below steps to fill CUET 2023 Application Form.

Step 1 - Visit the official website of the CUET to fill CUET Application Form 2023.
Step 2 - Click on the ‘Apply Online’ tab to register for the programme.
Step 3 - After clicking, candidates will be able to see three programmes options- UG, PG, and RP. Click on the link you wish to apply for.
Step 4 - Complete the registration process by entering details like program applied for, name, valid e-mail-id, mobile number, date of birth, and verification code displayed on the screen.
Step 5 - Once all details are submitted, the application number and password are generated and are sent to the registered email address and mobile number.
Step 6 - Use the application number and password to log in and fill up the application form by entering the log-in details like personal, academic qualification and communication address.
Step 7 - Upload scanned images of a recent passport-sized photograph and signature in prescribed format and dimensions.
Step 8 - Select the examination centres- In order of preference, select and enter the exam centres.
Step 9 - On successful online application submission with payment of fees through an automated e-mail and SMS is sent to the registered e-mail ID and mobile number.
 
CUET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who wish to appear for the CUET 2023 Exam can check the required eligibility criteria set by National Testing Agency for admission to UG (undergraduate) & PG (postgraduate) Courses before they start filling out their application form.
 
CUET Education Qualification
The academic qualifications for Undergraduate Courses, Post Graduate Courses and PhD Programmes are different which has been discussed below for each course. Check the CUET Academic Qualification for the course you are going to opt.
 
Courses Academic Qualification
Undergraduate The student must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in class 12th for General category candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates.
Post Graduate The student must have scored a minimum of 55% (General category) and 50% (SC/ST/OBC/PWD category) in Graduation Degree. In some places, there is a different cut off for the OBC candidate students.
PhD Programme The candidate must have a post-graduate degree in the particular stream with a minimum of 55% marks for general candidates, 50% marks for OBC candidate and 45% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidate.
 
CUET Reservation
As CUET is an entrance exam for admissions to UG courses at the Central Universities, which have been established under an Act of the Parliament, each Central University must follow the norms set by the Government of India, with respect to intake and reservation of seats. This section of the CUET Eligibility provides relaxation to the SC/ST, OBC, and PwD category.
Generally, the following break-up is followed:

CUET 2023 Exam Pattern
NTA will also conduct CUET Exam in 13 languages ( Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Odiya, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, English, Hindi and Urdu). Check the revised CUCET Exam Pattern 2023 from here.
  1. CUET 2023 will be conducted in an online mode this year, earlier, the exam was offline.
  2. CUET (UG) – 2023 will consist of the following 4 sections namely-
    • Section IA – 13 Languages
    • Section IB – 19 Languages
    • Section II – 27 Domain-specific Subjects
    • Section III – General Test
  3. . The question paper will be MCQ type only and there will be a total of 175 questions out of which 140 questions are to be attempted.
  4. A Candidate can choose a maximum of any 3 languages from Section IA and Section IB together.
  5. Section II consists of 27 Subjects, out of which a candidate may choose a maximum of 6 Subjects.
